Wonderland is an exhibition that transforms Teramo into a territory of discovery, where sculpture and photography meet to explore the boundary between myth, matter, and the contemporary imagination.
The sculptures by Filippo Tincolini, part of the Ancient God series, reinterpret archetypal figures drawn from mythology and popular culture, restoring them to their universal dimension through the language of classical sculpture infused with pop and visionary influences. Works such as Diana, Daughter of Nyx, Camazotz, and Aracne Head inhabit the spaces of L'ARCA with a silent yet powerful presence.
Alongside them are the photographs of Laura Veschi, which do not merely document the sculptures but reinterpret them through light, colour, and an almost cinematic sensibility, transforming them into apparitions suspended between reality and imagination.
The journey does not end within the museum walls: some works move out into the urban spaces of Teramo from the Castello della Monica to Largo Melatino bringing art into direct contact with the city and its inhabitants.
Wonderland is a journey through archetypes and the contemporary, through stone and image, through memory and wonder.
